This year for Easter we decided to shoot our eggs instead of rolling them.  The kids loved it!  We spent a few hours out there just shooting and having fun.  I definitely think this will be a new Easter tradition!  We even took time to take a selfie after the fun of shooting.  It was a great time!

Sleeping in the front room

This is what my bedroom looks like right now.  We are getting carpet today but had to have it all cleaned and ready last night.  Sheridan and Bryson were so great!  They helped Brian and I tear out carpet and pull up all the staples in it.  

Because our room was all torn apart, Brian and I got to sleep in the front room last night.  We are kind of spoiled though and didn't want to sleep on the floor.  We just put our bed in there and slept.  I am sure my kids will have a blast watching tv in our bed this morning while the carpet is installed.  

Old/New Night Stand

We just bought a new bedroom set but it only came with one nightstand.  We decided to head to the DI and see if they had anything that we could use.  I found this lovely night stand.  Now I wasn't in love with the color but it was so cute.  Best of all it was only $15.  So we bought it and then I worked a little magic.  I used some leftover paint, gel stain, polyurethane, and spray paint on it.  So that was basically free.  Anyway this is what the finished product looks like now.  Yes I know it's not perfect but I love it!!  And once we get new carpet it will be beautiful!

Twinning is Winning

This is my go to Sunday after church outfit.  It's comfy and I don't care what I look like.  Well this Sunday we forgot to get tickets to the temple dedication so I didn't even do my hair or makeup.  It was just a lazy Sunday.  Funny enough when my daughter came upstairs she had the same idea.  We busted up laughing because we wore the exact same thing.  Like mother like daughter!

Joseph

A group of my friends and I have season tickets to Hale Center Theater Orem.  It has been so much fun!  This play was no different.  We went to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.  It was awesome!  I was mesmerized.  If you haven't seen you should definitely go. We also went to Malawi's to eat.  Also amazing!!  It's this cute gourmet pizza place.  I loved the entire day, especially the time I got to spend with these great ladies.  They are the best!

Junior Prom 2016

Junior Prom in Gunnison is a pretty big deal.  The decoration always look fabulous.  Anyway here is McKenzi and her partner Hunter Peterson

Addison and JaKayla love their cousin.   I love this picture because I have one similar to it with their mom and McKenzi when she was just a little girl.  

I love the part of prom where the junior get to dance with their parents.  Brian was just as excited to dance with his little girl.  It was so beautiful!

Lastly we have these two cuties.  As kids they didn't always like each other.  We had many fights and wondered how we would ever get through it.  Now they are the best of friends.  It is so fun to see.

Provo City Temple Trip 2

We got to take some of our young women up to the temple open house.  It was so fabulous!  We got to go on a private tour and see the brides room.  It was such a great experience for all of us.  It's a beautiful!  I am so grateful that I got to go.
