Well we started tearing out our porch yesterday so I asked Sheridan to back my car out of the way. I am not really sure how she did it but somehow she tore the bottom lining off my door in the process. sometimes you wonder if all we have is bad luck. But at the same time I told her that the car is replaceable, She is not. So If something bad were to happen I would gladly take the car damage. So for awhile I will drive my damaged car around and be grateful for the things that really matter.

Drawing on the wall
We are getting ready to remodel our house. The kids have been really great at helping get everything ready to start. Bryson knew were going to tear down this wall and he has been dying to write on it. So tonight after hours of prepping the house we decided to let the kids relax. It was hilarious to watch them. They all went to town and drew on the wall most of the evening. This picture is just as they were starting their drawing adventure. By the time we went to bed the entire wall was covered. When I got up this morning it just made me smile. Who knew that coloring a wall would be so much fun?

Socks anyone?
This is so ridiculous! We have been trying to get our house ready to remodel. One of the things we did was get all of our laundry washed. Here is our pile of un-mated socks. I about died when I saw how many socks we have. The worst part is that we can never find mates. Well no wonder there are too many to look through to find matching ones. We did get them all mated and I threw away those that didn't have a mate. Hopefully this will never happen again.

A Sprained Ankle
I am thirty something years old and I got my first sprained ankle the other day. Can you believe that? Well it's a pretty funny story and I have to share it. I was at work and need to run the deposit over to the bank. (I just walk across the street to do that.) Anyway I was on my way over and stepped off the curb into the main highway and my ankle rolled. Now I didn't fall gracefully. No I fell flat on my face on the road. I sprained my ankle, cut up my knees and hands but I didn't loos a single check from the deposit. Now that takes some kind of skill. So I get up and look around and I don't think a single person saw it. I wish I could have watched because I bet it was hilarious. That night I was trying to help my husband and kids move our furniture back into our bedroom and twisted it even more. Thankfully I have a great husband that wrapped it up and iced it for me while he put the rest of the stuff back into my room. Here's to all the graceful moments we have in our lives!!

Bike Riding
I am so excited! I got a bike for my birthday. It's been pretty cold so I haven't ridden it very much. However, Bryson and I decided to go for a ride the other day. It was so much fun! I worked muscles I haven't used since I was a kid though. We were pretty tired when we finished but both decided that we definitely need to do that more often. I sure do love spending time with that kid. He makes me so happy!! I love him to pieces!!

Something old..something new
We have these porch chairs that we sit on all the time. Well they are starting to unravel and fall apart. So I decided to learn how to redo them and this is what I came up with. The chair on the left is the old one and the one on the right is what I just finished. I just noticed that there a a few mistakes I made but I love the new chair and am excited to finish the other one.
